How ClaimMe handles data
Effective date: July 3, 2026
Overview
ClaimMe.app is a public media globe. Content you publish is meant to be visible to other visitors. Do not upload private information, sensitive documents, or content you do not want other people to see.
Information We Collect
Public content: uploaded images, GIFs, videos, drawings, text, titles, publisher names, descriptions, spot numbers, and publish timestamps.
Claim and draft data: claim status, claim expiration, a browser-generated owner ID, and a hashed claim code. Your browser may store the plain claim code locally so you can recover an active draft.
Technical data: basic request, security, and error information such as browser type, viewport size, timestamps, media type, spot number, and logs needed to operate and protect the service.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate the globe, process beta claims, publish canvases, recover active drafts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and remove prohibited content.
Where Data Is Stored
Board, claim, and history metadata are stored in Cloudflare D1. Uploaded media is stored in Cloudflare R2 and served through media.claimme.app. Cloudflare processes data for ClaimMe so the service can work.
Public Content
Published canvases and spot history are public. Other visitors may view, screenshot, record, or otherwise copy public content before it is removed. ClaimMe cannot control copies made outside the service.
Retention
ClaimMe is temporary by design. We keep at most the 5 most recent published versions per spot, and published media is not intended to remain available for more than 120 days. Drafts, abandoned uploads, and orphaned media may be deleted sooner. See the Data Retention Policy for details.
Your Choices
You can avoid entering a real name in the publisher field. You can request removal of content by contacting us with enough information to identify the spot and content. Because ClaimMe does not currently use accounts, we may need a claim code or other proof before making claim-owner changes.
Children
ClaimMe is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, use ClaimMe only with permission from a parent or guardian.
Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards, including server-side claim checks, rate limits, admin controls, and Cloudflare infrastructure. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
