ClaimMe is temporary by design

Published Canvases and History

Each spot keeps a limited public history. ClaimMe keeps at most the 5 most recent published versions per spot, and published media is not intended to remain available for more than 120 days.

If a spot has more than 5 history entries, older entries may be removed. If published content is older than 120 days, its metadata and media may be removed even if it is still visible in history.

Current Spot Content

The currently displayed canvas may remain visible while it is active or until another user claims and replaces the spot. Current media is still subject to the 120-day maximum retention goal.

Drafts and Claim Codes

Drafts are kept only during the active claim window shown in the app. Claim codes are temporary and expire with the draft window. A hashed version of the claim code may be stored server-side during that window; the plain code may be stored in your browser for recovery.

Abandoned and Orphaned Uploads

Media uploaded for drafts that are abandoned, expired, deleted, or no longer referenced by a retained canvas may be removed after a short grace period, usually about 24 hours.

Security Records

Security logs, moderation records, abuse-prevention records, and admin audit logs may be kept longer when needed to operate the service, investigate misuse, respond to disputes, or comply with law.

Backups, Caches, and Copies

Deletion from the live service may not immediately remove content from temporary caches, logs, backups, or copies made by other visitors. Cloudflare object lifecycle rules may also take time to complete deletion.

Send removal requests to support@claimme.app with the spot number, a description of the content, and any proof that helps us verify the request.
